Empire State Building

The Empire State Building is the most known and tallest building of New York City (449m - 1.472'). It was already since 1931 but had lost the title when World Trade Center 1 was built. Since 9/11, it took back the title of tallest building of the city. It is one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. It appeared in an amazing number of films, TV shows, video games, the most famous being King Kong and the famous climbing along the building.

L'Empire State Building est l'immeuble le plus connu et le plus haut de New York (449m). Il l'était déjà depuis 1931 mais avait perdu le titre au profit de la Tour 1 du World Trade Center. Depuis le 11 septembre 2001, il a récupéré le titre de plus haut building de la ville. C'est l'une des 7 merveilles du monde moderne. Il est apparu dans un nombre incalculable de films, séries, jeux vidéo, le plus célèbre étant King Kong et la célèbre escalade du gorille le long du building.

Condé Nast Building

The Condé Nast Building is located on Times Square in Midtown. Its height is 348m (1,143ft) and it's currently the second tallest building in New York City, thanks to the giant antenna on top (more than 100m). It is occupied by Condé Nast Publications, the wealthiest law firm and by ESPN which owns a restaurant on Times Square. Also, the building has the giant NASDAQ's MarketSite on its side.

Le Condé Nast Building est situé à Times Square dans Midtown Manhattan. Il culmine à 348m et est le 2ème plus haut immeuble de New York grâce à son antenne de plus de 100m. Il est occupé par des bureaux de Condé Nast Publications, par la firme d'avocat la plus riche des Etats-Unis et par ESPN qui détient un restaurant sur Times Square. C'est également sur le flanc de cet immeuble que se trouve le gigantesque panneau annonçant le cours du NASDAQ.

Chrysler Building

The Chrysler Building is an iconic Art Deco skyscraper built in 1930. It was the world tallest building with its 319m (1.047'), until 1931 and construction of the Empire State Building. Today, it's the second tallest in New York City, just like in the 30's, due to 9/11. It appeared in various movie like Spiderman, Godzilla and The Aviator.

Le Chrysler Building est un immeuble de style Art Déco construit en 1930. Il a été le plus haut building du monde avec ses 319m, jusqu'en 1931 et la construction de l'Empire State Building. Aujourd'hui, il est le deuxième plus haut building de New York, comme dans les années 30, du fait des attentats du 11 septembre 2001. Brooklyn Bridge/Broker Bridge

The Brooklyn Bridge opened in 1883 and it's 1883m long (5,989'). Located on the south edge of Manhattan, it crosses East river and rely Downtown to the Brooklyn District. It is one of the famous landmark in New York City.

Le pont de Brooklyn a été ouvert en 1883 et mesure 1825m de long. Situé au sud de Manhattan, il traverse l'East River et relie le centre financier de Manhattan au quartier de Brooklyn. C'est aujourd'hui un symbole de New York.
